Bringing with him a wealth of experience from leading luxury hotels across India, Chef Yashraj’s career began with a deep rooted passion in Asian cuisine, which he recognized during his tenure at Ibis Mumbai. His journey progressed with extensive training at the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD), where he excelled at skills across different culinary stages, earning him a coveted gold medal for his excellence in kitchen management. Chef Yashraj’s impressive portfolio comprises of roles at premier properties, like The Oberoi Amarvilas, The Oberoi Mumbai, Trident BKC, and Taj Lands End, where he showcased his versatility and flair in high-end kitchens, particularly at acclaimed restaurants like the Masala Bay and Ming Yang.

In his new role at Dashanzi, Chef Yashraj’s passion and expertise will not only enhance the restaurant’s sophisticated culinary experiences, but will also complement it with his own innovative flair. Chef Yashraj aims to delight guests with a redefined dining experience, offering an artfully curated menu that combines the rich, authentic flavors of Asia with his personal culinary touch. Chef Rohit Mattummal brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry to Navi Mumbai Marriott Hotel, specializing in Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisines. He is known for his ability to create exceptional dishes that balance traditional flavors with modern twists. Chef Rohit's journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology from Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir, SPH College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Nashik, where he graduated with first-class honors. His academic background laid a solid foundation for a distinguished culinary career marked by dedication and excellence.

Chef Rohit's professional journey includes significant roles at renowned establishments. Most recently, he served as Chef de Cuisine at Kempinski, Marsa Malaz – The Pearl in Doha, Qatar, where he oversaw various kitchen departments, managed outdoor catering for VIP events, and maintained the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Prior to this, he was Chef de Cuisine at Kempinski, Barbaros Bay in Bodrum, Turkey, where he led a team in preparing and presenting Asian-inspired dishes, developed seasonal menus, and implemented cost-effective strategies. Chef Rohit's tenure at The Oberoi in Bengaluru, India, saw him play a pivotal role in launching two new restaurants, developing menus, and receiving recognition for exceptional performance and training contributions. At Express Inn in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, he managed banquet operations for Asian cuisine and collaborated with the Executive Chef in menu planning. His earlier experience at The Oberoi- Trident in Mumbai, India, involved overseeing various sections, handling bulk orders, and maintaining high standards and hygiene in a Pan-Asian specialty restaurant.

Known for his proficiency in SE Asian, Indian, and International cuisine, Chef Rohit excels in sourcing premium ingredients, orchestrating successful pre-opening strategies, conducting comprehensive staff training, and skillfully managing budgets. As a multilingual professional fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Malayalam, with basic proficiency in French, Chef Rohit effortlessly guides service teams and delivers exceptional customer service.

Chef Rohit aims to contribute his culinary expertise and leadership abilities to deliver outstanding dining experiences at Nazaara, enhancing its reputation as Navi Mumbai's finest rooftop dining experience. Hardeep Singh appointed as Chef De Cuisine at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center

As Chef de Cuisine, Chef Hardeep will oversee the operations of the newly launched Indian speciality restaurant, Zarf

Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center appointed Hardeep Singh as Chef de Cuisine. With over a decade of culinary expertise gathered from esteemed brands across India and Dubai, Chef Hardeep brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Starting his culinary journey as a commis chef with Jaypee Hotels in Agra in 2013, Chef Hardeep steadily ascended through various culinary positions, accumulating a diverse knowledge base along the way. His talent was recognised early on when he achieved the title of first runner-up at the prestigious AAHAR Delhi food festival while working with Crowne Plaza. He further honed his skills and contributed significantly to the success of renowned restaurants such as JW Marriott’s K3 and the internationally acclaimed Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor at Canvas M Gallery by Accor, Dubai.

In his most recent role as Sous Chef at Hyatt Andaz, Chef Hardeep played a pivotal role in elevating their food hall, Annamaya, to the status of Award-Winning Food Hall of the Year.

As Chef de Cuisine at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center, Chef Hardeep will oversee the operations of the newly launched Indian speciality restaurant, Zarf.
