Hyatt Place Pune, Hinjawadi is pleased to welcome Amit Kumar Thapliyal as the Head Chef. An industry expert, Amit holds an experience of more than 19 years in hospitality industry converting strategic vision into measurable results at various hotels.

As the Head Chef, Amit Kumar Thapliyal will be responsible for heading and managing the hotel operations and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. A driven professional, Amit is extremely passionate about enhancing customer experiences and achieving operational excellence with his team. Prior to joining Hyatt Place Pune Hinjawadi, he served as the Executive Chef at Mahindra Holidays Resorts, Udaipur.

He has Bachelor’s in Arts from William Carey University. His passion for the hospitality industry has seen him rapidly rise through several positions within the company, with responsibilities spread across a gamut of functions. Throughout his career, he’s worked with various brands of repute, which has made him an adroit in hotel operations. In spite of his wealth of experience and knowledge, Amit Thapliyal, strongly believes success is the result of self-motivation and enjoys managing his team. After all, he says, “I am delighted to be back with the Hyatt family, where I have spent most of my career. Through my experience and creativity, I will strive to bring Food and Beverage at Hyatt Place Pune to the next level with the help of my team.”
